Project Wicksteed Park

drage has a long-standing partnership with Wicksteed park.

We always enjoy working alongside the team there whether it be for projects or maintenance works.

This project involved a complete refurbishment of the precinct area of the park, with the idea being to modernise the park while still holding close its original heritage.

The main reception and ticket offices received a complete upgrade, using high spec LED strip lighting as part of a smart lighting system, they were really brought to life.

The three bungalows situated in the precinct were left in their original form on the outside but were given a modern twist when you walk through the doors, one of which became the famous ice cream parlour.

Lastly a new bungalow was built from the floor up and this was to be used for educational and school days.

This building is completely modern with acoustic walls, ceilings and a sound system to deliver the ideal learning experience.
